On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Cutter Morning Star geology class visited Blanchard Springs Caverns located in Fifty-Six, Arkansas, just outside of Mountain View. The group traveled through two huge rooms filled with an incredible variety and number of crystalline formations - sparkling flowstone, towering columns, and delicate soda straws. This tour was almost a half a mile through the Caverns. It was most students first time every in a cavern. We had a great time and hope to be able to visit again.
