Dr. Nancy Anderson currently serves as the Superintendent of Cutter Morning Star School District in Garland County. A Lake Hamilton High School Graduate, Dr. Anderson continued her education at National Park College. She also earned her BSE and MSE from Henderson State University, an education specialist from Harding University and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She started her career in education teaching at Lakeside School District. Dr. Anderson serves or has served on many educational and leadership boards and committees, including the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Education Credit Union, AAESP, ERZ Advisory Board, Cotillion Board, NRA National School Shield Security Committee and Dawson Educational Co-op. She has also served as an ADE trainer of trainer for initiatives such as TESS and UBD. Anderson quotes education reformer John Dewey “Education is not preparation for life, but is life” to live accordingly. She has served as mentors for those entering the profession at all levels from teachers to superintendents.
