Attention parents:
The high school will have an awards ceremony to honor our 7th-11th grade students on Friday, May 17th at 9:30 A.M. in the high school arena. All parents and family are invited to attend! We will be giving awards for honor roll, perfect attendance, and individual class honors.

Power has been restored and school will begin at 10am
Due to power outage, at this time, school will be delay starting at 10am. Bus pickup will be 1 1/2 hours later than normal. Please watch social media and announcements for further information later this morning. If power is not restored soon, another announcement will be made regarding cancellation.
The Cutter Morning Star School District would like to cordially invite all parents and anyone from the community to attend our senior awards ceremony and graduation.
Our Senior Awards Ceremony will be held at our high school arena on Monday, May 13th at 6:00 PM. This event will also include our annual candle lighting ceremony in which our seniors will "pass the torch" to our junior class. All juniors and seniors are required to attend and must be there at 5:30 P.M. to practice the candle lighting ceremony. All parents are welcome!
Our graduation ceremony will be on Thursday, May 16th at 7:00 PM. Events for seniors will begin at 9:00 AM on the 16th with senior breakfast, followed immediately by our senior walkthrough and graduation practice. Seniors will need to be at graduation promptly at 6:00 P.M. to get ready for graduation.
Congratulations seniors and we look forward to seeing you and your family next week!

Happy Shakespeare Day at Cutter Morning Star! After reading and studying Shakespeare, Dr. Bryant will be hosting a Shakespeare Festival in his classes today to celebrate the great poet himself! Of course, Mrs. Slay couldn't resist getting in on the fun!

Hello CMS community! The music and art departments would like to cordially invite you to a night celebrating the fine arts here at CMS. Please see the attached poster for more details. The event will be held at the CMS High School Cafeteria on Thursday, May 2nd, beginning at 5:30. Light refreshments will be provided. Come see the hard work students have put into their art, as well as listen to the solos of our talented band and choir. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are proud of both our boys' baseball team and our girls' softball team on great seasons!!!
Our boys worked hard and improved throughout the year. The highlight of their season was a great win over Kirby toward the end of the year, the first of many to come! Our softball team had a record of 15-4 and was ranked as high as 6th in the state this season. The program is strong and is set up to continue winning long into the future!
We are proud of all of the young men and women who competed! We also want to give a special thank you to our baseball and softball coaches: Coach Brickell, Coach Rogers, Coach Pogue, Coach Trusty, Coach Erskine, and Coach Hawthorn. Thank you for all that you do!

Governor Sanders announced Monday the formal launch of Summer EBT for Arkansas. This will allow eligible families to receive $120 per child to purchase food for the summer months when school is out. If you are buying athletic banquet tickets using Cashapp, you must show proof to Mrs. Bissell to acquire a ticket for food. Everyone is required to have a ticket in order to get dinner that night.
