Selfie challenge
We are trying to fine-tune tomorrow’s (Tuesday, March 31st) process for parents to pick up this week’s AMI packets and drop off their students’ completed packets for the week of March 16th. IF you can receive this week’s packets electronically, please let your child’s teacher know. You may also send the work back to us electronically. Email any of your student’s teachers for assistance. IF you want/need a hardcopy then our school will be open tomorrow (Tuesday, March 31st) from 7:30 am-3:30 pm. When you enter our High School go to each of your student’s classrooms. You can pick up your weekly AMI copies at each of our teacher’s classroom doors. There will also be an empty container there where you can drop off your student’s completed packet from the week of March 16th. PLEASE REMEMBER TO STAY 6 FEET AWAY FROM OTHERS. AND, ONLY ONE PERSON PER FAMILY SHOULD COME INTO THE BUILDING. Our teachers have worked hard to try to make these packets a reasonable amount that students can do with limited instruction. Please encourage your child to do the best they can but we don’t want our students or you to stress out over what we have asked your child to do. However, we will be checking each student’s work to give credit for completing their work. IF you have any questions or concerns you may email or DoJo your child’s classroom teacher OR call our office at 501-262-2414 Option 2. IF you have requested a Chromebook either through your child's classroom teacher OR our office, the Chromebook will be ready for you to sign-out in front of our office. We will need you to please sign for those because we will be required to account for each of those. Based on feedback from parents and teachers, we will be doing a Tuesday to Tuesday pick up and drop off. Therefore, you will NOT need to drop off your child’s completed packet for this week until Tuesday, April 7th. Report cards for the third nine weeks will be mailed to each student’s home address at the end of this week. Please be watching for those, Breakfast and lunch meals for students will continue this week on Monday-Friday. Pick up will be from 9:30-11:30 am in front of our cafeteria. We will also continue our meal delivery for our students who need those delivered. Thank you for your patience and understanding (and prayers) as we try to figure out how to continue to provide home based instruction for all of our students. We want to be as flexible and accommodating as possible so please let us know how we can make this process work better for your family. Take care and stay well!

We take the safety and well-being of our students and staff very seriously at the Cutter Morning Star School District and felt that it would be timely to share our continuing commitment in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns across the country. While we have not experienced any health-related challenge with COVID-19, we do know that the flu is still prevalent in our state. We are taking this opportunity to review and share some of our health emergency protocols.

Good morning. Cutter Morning Star school district is currently on a “practice lockdown”. No students or staff are in danger. This practice lockdown serves two purposes. First, it gives staff and students an opportunity to practice our emergency plan. Secondly, it gives the administration and local law enforcement an opportunity to complete a district wide search using trained dogs for any dangerous or unsafe items on campus. Thank you for your cooperation. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
