Congratulations to Mrs. Kenya Lewis on being selected as the Cutter Morning Star Elementary Teacher of the Month for March. Mrs. Lewis is the Cutter Elementary School Counselor and she does a great job of taking care of our students. She is always positive and always has a smile on her face. Mrs. Lewis visits every classroom every other week and our students look forward to her fun and engaging lessons. Mrs. Lewis serves on our Leadership Team and heads up our PBIS Team. She manages our Cutter Cash store so that students receive rewards for their positive behaviors. Not only does Mrs. Lewis take care of our students but she also takes care of our staff. She sends out weekly “Self-Care Sunday” emails to our staff encouraging them to take care of themselves so that they are able to take care of our students. It’s also not unusual for Mrs. Lewis to send out “Wellness Wednesday” or other inspiring, fun emails to our staff. Mrs. Lewis goes above and beyond in making sure that the students and staff at Cutter Elementary School have their social and emotional needs taken care of. Congratulations again to Mrs. Lewis on being selected as the Cutter Morning Star Elementary Teacher of the Month.
